4km of DN800 Natural water pipe to Balfour Beatty. The scheme in total is 8km and phase 2, a further 4km of DN800 pipe will be required from February 2017, Saint-Gobain PAM UK are hopeful of the continuing supply with a further similar order in August 2016.  A Saint-Gobain PAM UK project team has worked since May 2014 to become the first choice supplier due to product specification and value creation to Balfour Beatty, South West Water and Arcadis. Deliveries are due to commence from May 2016.  The scheme is due for completion by December 2017. Saint-Gobain PAM UK will continue to work closely within the project team to deliver the best installed cost pipeline, including logistics and training.

Netherlands-based water technology company PWN Technologies will design, install and commissioning the main water treatment process which uses a suspended ion exchange (SIX), inline coagulation (ILCA) and ceramic membrane microfiltration (CeraMac), the first time that these technologies have been used in the UK. The new treatment works will meet the needs of Plymouth's growing population and provide a secure, high-quality drinking water supply for the wider Plymouth area for generations to come.
