A look at how cast iron drainage systems for above and below ground gravity applications have evolved over the last 30 years and how labour costs now reflect the latest jointing methods - supported by independent research into on-site measurement by Quantity surveyors EC Harris. - The Burning Question. A presentation detailing the outcome of an independent test carried out in a German Laboratory comparing the performance of cast iron to a number of plastic based systems (Polypropelene, HDPE, and Twin Wall PVC) when exposed to Fire. The results are disturbing as they are enlightening.
- Syphonic Rainwater systems in Cast Iron
This presentation provides an overview to the concept of syphonic systems in comparison to gravity drainage, and the benefits of using cast iron for this application.
