Logistics Update – 8th July 2021
It is clear that the haulage industry in the UK is currently facing huge challenges and, as such, we thought it would be useful to give you a quick update to reassure you about your PAM deliveries.
In partnership with XPO, we have our own Saint-Gobain PAM delivery fleet which we use to operate our standard weekly delivery schedule. We are proud of this fleet especially the fact that 35% of our mileage is now covered using low carbon LNG vehicles. There is no change to our weekly delivery service and you can place your orders with confidence.
When you need something a little bit quicker, we are still offering a carrier service but we need to make you aware that delivery times may be extended to 48 hours if there is high volume in the carrier networks and/or in some parts of the country. Nevertheless, we are still delivering 96% of our carrier deliveries within 24 hours. If you would prefer to come and collect your order directly from our stock-ground then please talk to our customer service or sales teams and we will make the appropriate arrangements for you.
Similarly, if you need a special transport solution let us know as soon as you can so we can plan your delivery in good time. The more information you can share with us about your future delivery needs the better.
